Academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success is the pinnacle for a child’s development. At some point in a child’s life, one or more of these developmental milestones may become derailed. Therefore, it is my passion and professional and ethical experience to support youth and families in getting these aspects of life back on track. With 17 years of diverse experience working in public school districts, licensed to work with early childhood youth to adolescents in 12th grade, I have gained professional knowledge and awareness on how to address trauma, stress, anxiety, eating disorders, gender identity, etc. My role is collaborative in nature with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide a supportive learning environment that strengthens connections between home, school, and the community for this delicate population.
My training emphasized preparation in mental health and educational interventions, child development, learning, behavior, motivation, curriculum and instruction, assessment, consultation, collaboration, school law, and systems.
